Factors to consider when choosing a physician:

Does the physician provide the specialty services that meet my needs?
Is the physician's office conveniently located near my home or place of work?
Do the physician's office hours meet my needs?
Does the physician accept my health insurance? Do they accept Medicare or Medicaid?
Is the physician accepting new patients?
At which hospital(s) does the physician have privileges?
Is the physician “board certified” in their practice area?
Have I checked the physician's credentials and experience?
Does the physician have any medical liability claims against them?
